Welcome, Mr. Walker!
The News is thrilled to welcome new academic coach, Mr. Denzell Walker, to campus this fall. With a leadership strategy grounded in data-informed strategy, culturally responsive practices, and deep commitment to membership, Mr. Walker looks to help students navigate their personal and academic journeys confidently and purposefully.
Mr. Walker earned his B.A. in Strategic and Corporate Communications from Susquehanna University, where he was named the Most Outstanding Student in Corporate Communications. Also bringing thorough experience as a youth development leader, Mr. Walker served as Director of Programs at Project Pneuma. In this Baltimore-based nonprofit, his work supported the growth and well-being of over 150 students annually. Additionally, Mr. Walker is a proud alum of both the Center for Urban Families’ Practitioners Leadership Institute and the Bunting Neighborhood Leadership Program at Johns Hopkins Urban Health Institute.
