Pranav’s Informative Week

Gilman’s very own Pranav Parikh ‘25 returned from a trip to San Diego for a nationally renowned science convention known as Kidney Week, hosted by The American Society of Nephrology. There, he presented among thousands of others about his studies on urine samples and what they can show us about our kidney’s health and function. During his short time there, Pranav was able to present his research to hundreds of people from across the country. He also got to talk with some “well-known people in the kidney community,” and had an overall “amazing experience.” Pranav was ecstatic to get to share his findings with people who were “just as passionate as I am” about nephrology. The experience gave him valuable knowledge and new perspectives which he is eager to bring back to Gilman and share with his peers. This conference was a great opportunity for Pranav to broaden his knowledge, represent Gilman, and have fun while doing it. Please congratulate Pranav on his trip, and feel free to question him about nephrology in the hall!
