From Outgoing Student Body President Frank Siciliano

Dear Gilman Student Body,

I am writing you all this letter as my last official act as your president for the 2024-2025 school year, and what a year it has been. Reflecting on the year, there is not a week, a day, or a moment where I was not proud to be your classmate and honored to be your president.

Every day, you all reminded me what Gilman is all about: spirit, brotherhood, and excellence. Whether it was the tailgate and suits before the Loyola game, the Gilman McDonogh Pep Rally and Football game, Silent Night, the talent show, Flood the Field, or even a random Tuesday assembly, I could always count on you all to show up, show out, and protect the pack.

And for that, I thank you. Everyone played a role in the success of the year, from those who served with me on the student council to those who stayed behind at games to clean up to those who cheered extra loud at assemblies. I could not have done it without you.

I am sad to leave a place I have called home for so many years, but I know I am leaving it in good hands. I am excited to see what the future holds for you all, and I know it will be bright. Continue to support each other, take pride in our school, and above all, protect the pack.

Thank you for a terrific year. I could not have asked for a better student body. Go Hounds!
